McAfee Bought a Mobile Phone Security Company

McAfee has signed an agreement to acquire tenCube so that service can be used to in the agreement the Trust Digital. The tenCube, a WaveSecure mobile security service provider based in Singapore, allows phone users to control from a distance, manage data on mobile phones, guaranteeing privacy in terms of burglary tools, and improve the possibilities to improve up. The acquisition is expected to be completed in August 2010. Later McAfee hopes to expand language support and few services with the protection and the ability to cloud. Even allowing the existence of child protection McAfee through location based services.
With WaveSecure technology, if the phone is lost, the service allows users to find location of the telephone. If the phone has been stolen, they can lock remotely or automatically delete all personal data from the device and external memory card. The phone will be automatically locked when used with unauthorized wireless account and inform the user directly to the emergency contact. (more…)
